ALS Providers will earn 16 Cat 1 CEU hours by attending one Session A and one Session B offering. Instructors will vary by session and include PHI AirCare and CCFR staff. Topics covered in these hours include: clinical procedure practicals, advanced airway scenarios, 12 leads, chest decompressions, various trauma and medical emergencies, allergic reactions, drowning, overdose, and operations.
A Special Trauma lecture during Session B will be open to ALS and BLS providers. BLS partners who attend on shift may also earn some CEU hours and are welcome to join us.
Overtime will be approved for ALS Category 1 CEU hours for staff who submit TDA request forms as required.
